Cleaning macbook 12 keyboard?

No, it did not. Answering previous poster, I did not have keyboard dust problem with any of my previous MacBooks or Sony ultraportables.

Spray screen cleaner on microfibre cloth scrub keyboard vigorously end of story, 12 months on rMB is fine, as are other Apple & Windows notebooks. If the KB has issue it`s more likely due to a production error than user error.
