Hi people!
It's been almost one year (Jan 2019) since I've purchased my MBP end 2018 MBP, the one with Vega 20.
Hence, I'm wondering if it's possible to clean the fans of my MBP by myself and if any of you could direct me to some links on this regard.
Else, do you think this would be an expensive task to go through in case I'd bring it to the Apple Store? My warranty is actually expired (tried to extend it but for some insane reasons any credit card that I used wasn't working on extending the Apple Support Care, not Apple Plus +)

Many thanks in advance!

I used my MBA 2015 for 3 years, heavily, all day long. I played WoW / Starcraft II on it and used it all day at work. The only thing I ever did for the “fans” was to take a can of air and lightly puff the entrance - I did not spray into the vent heavily.

My MBP 2017? I’ve had it for almost 2 years and I haven’t done a thing and it is used more heavily than my MBA was.

I second chscag’s request - what makes you think you need to clean your fans? Are you in a dusty environment?

Taking apart anything Apple today (besides the Mac Pro) is expensive and not easy - and I’ve built my own PCs for years.
