Cleaning mute switch area?

I've got some schmutz at the base of my mute switch (iPhone SE); it's particularly visible on the side without the orange sticker (the "unmuted" switch position).

Any tips on cleaning that deeply recessed "tight-squeeze" area? It's not a big deal (and I don't want to go to much trouble), but I would prefer for it to be clean. Thanks.

Tooth pick for sure. Then a microfiber cloths fibers should penetrate the lose debris and collect it.
