The bristles shouldn't damage the aluminum and depending how hard your forcing the bristles on the aluminum. I would use a soft bristle brush if you were concerned.

A microfibre with some isopropyl would do the trick.

Not to a significant degree. You could always use the toothbrush to dislodge the debris then vacuum it out.
