I have a few streaks and drops of god knows what from eating while doing homework last night and just wondered what everyones preferred method of cleaning the case is

Warm water and then a clean rag to wipe it down. I'd avoid chemicals and stuff like that. Should do the trick.

A few drops of water on a cloth should be fine, just do some rough scrubbing all around your device. I also use a small vacuum cleaner to suck out bits from under my keyboard and to free the holes for ventilation from potential dust.

Don't use that goo stuff that apparently cleans your keyboard, from experience those things leave your keys oily.

Like the others, I use a dampened paper towel, with a dry one to follow along and buff out the streaks and dry the case.

microfiber cloth + water... using this method to clean almost everything electronic, only for retina display on macbook I using blasebalg + lenspen to avoid any kind of damage to screen coating
