What do you all use to clean your iMac screens? Wanting to clean my M1 24inch and don't know if I should just use a damp paper towel or a microfiber cloth or something else?

Use a water damp microfiber cloth.

I suggest Whoosh clothes. They make these amazing orange cloths that do a great job even without a liquid to leave a streak-free and clean screen. Quite unique on the market, their texture/design is different than many other products. I haven't seen any other brand have the same quality/feel to them.

Did Apple stop bundling a microfiber cloth in the box? (I guess they did).

Use a microfiber cloth, but be wary of the type that has a pile, especially if they're cheap, or unknown quality. They can scratch (unfortunately, BTDT).

The type that Apple used to include, which have no loops, and are like silk, are better. They're thin, and often have serrated cut edges, not banding, which can also be a source of scratches. The problem with the type that have a pile is that the loops may be soft, but the substrate they're sewn to may not be. Press too hard, and it can scratch.

Be gentle, regardless.

Yeah there was no cleaning cloth in the iMac box. And come to think of it there was no cleaning cloth in my 2019 Macbook Air's box either.

Look for cloths that resemble Apple's cloth. Not ones that look like this, or a shag carpet.

I use a glasses lens cleaning solution and a glasses microfiber cloth. No problems on my 2013 Air.
