I've been seeing publicity about how problematic the new MBP keyboard are.

I have a 2016 15" and the spacebar has started to stick. Dust buildup I guess.

There's no Apple store in my country and I already had to send this one to France a few months ago to replace the screen and motherboard which simply stopped working.

I was wondering if there are any safe DIY methods? I saw the article about using compressed air, but I don't see how that would remove dust that's underneath the keys. I also saw a couple of videos about removing the keys. Think it's safe for the spacebar? Once I do that do you guys think I need to remove the butterfly thingy too?

Appreciate any input fellas.
