Any special requirements? Is a small amount of water on a microfiber cloth ok?

Yes. You can also use non-ammonia eye wear cleaner. That also works great.

I use water and a micro fiber cloth and dry it off that way. I then use another micro fiber cloth to remove any finger prints.
