Cleaning under mac book screen

    I have random junk under my macbook screen. it looks almost like plant matter... anyways any one know how to clean this out? My book is well out of warranty and no apple care. Thanks guys.

    Yeah... don't use it around people mowing the lawn he he...

    There really isn't any way to even get stuff in there. The LCD unit is all sealed together. How did that get in there?

    did you try to do any laptop repairs in a garden or in grass? or did you get it that way?

    i don't really know. i never took my computer apart, it just showed up some time. i don't really remember exactly when it showed up... any help on how to get rid of it?

    i would bring it into a store and ask for a price.

    if it is sitting on the lcd itself and you are very very handy you could follow this guide (but don't take the lcd out just clean it with a microfiber cloth and some screen cleaner). http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Installing-MacBook-Core-Duo-LCD-Panel/311/1


    But i would recommend bringing it into the store.
