Cleaning up an old Clamshell iBook G3

i just got a neat iBook Clamshell G3 blueberry and it is in pretty good condition, but I was wondering what the best way to clean some of the stickiness off of the rubber without damaging it? It works great, it just has a little bit of stickiness on the colored rubber that would look great when cleaned up!

I'd start with a damp washcloth, then try mild soap solution, then carefully test harsher things like 409. It seems like most stuff will come off with damp cloth and elbow grease.

I've had great success with the Mr clean magic erasers too. Anything tough comes right off.

Just gotta be careful going over painted on logos and other text
