Hey all,

So I just ordered a new MBP and I'm planning to move all my music over from my iMac. Now, I screwed up because I had the option selected on iTunes to duplicate all my music files I import into the iTunes music library folder, but eventually I disabled it.

This means I have a bunch of music in my iTunes music folder and a bunch of music in my Downloads folder, some of which crosses over and some of which doesn't.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can conglomerate them or delete duplicates or whatnot?

Thanks very much,
Mike

I think we need more info:

Does either the iTunes or Downloads folder contain ALL your music?
Where do you want it eventually (surely not the downloads folder)?
Have you imported everything in to iTunes now? i.e., is all you music in iTunes, regardless of which folder you want it in?

(Also, this query might be more appropriately placed in the Mac Apps forum.)
