In watchOS 4, force pressing on notifications doesn’t bring up the option to clear all notifications anymore. How does one clear all notifications?

I just sold my S0, waiting on the new S3, but I am almost positive that was still working on mine with OS 4. I used it all the time.
Still works on both my S2 (4.0) and S3 (4.0.1). Pull down, force press, get option to "Clear All"....

I was pressing on the crown button when I felt something amiss with the watch. Looking closer, the screen has popped up a little. That’s probably why the force press wasn’t working. I shut it down immediately (fearing it may explode due to a potential swollen battery) and brought it to the store. They will be replacing it.
