Just had to put my 2 cents regarding my clear iPod Touch case. It catches and traps dirt and dust like flypaper. Within a few days, my iPod has tons of crud stuck underneath the case. Every once in a while, i have to take it out and clean it.

Anyone else experience this? I guess that's just the way it is.

First, what kind of case are you using? Silicon, polycarbonate, etc.
Second, what IS the case? Like a Griffin iClear, or DLO Jam Jacket, etc.

Most silicon cases get VERY dirty. The DLO Jam Jacket thought, is lint-free therefore won't gather all that gunk. I'm sure there more lint-free silicone's out there I just don't know more.

Some plastic cases are very prone to get dirt inside the case. So you should watch nout for that as well.

I gave up on silicone cases with my iPod years ago. I use the Griffin leather holster on my iPhone and love it.

I got a polycarbonate case off eBay. However, looking through Youtube revealed some guy who posted his thoughts on the Griffin iClear, and he mentions how it collects dust and dirt very easily.
