Have you seen clear cases for the M2 MacBook Air? Incase has them for the 14-inch MacBook Pro. As to keyboard protectors, it appears that the GhostCover keyboard protector for the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros could fit the M2 MacBook Air's keyboard. Has anyone tried if it fits?

I contacted Incase. A Customer Service Representative wrote that she hopes that the Hardshell Case for the M2 MacBook Air will be available in the next two weeks. Let's hope.

Yup, my GhostCover on my 14" fits the M2 MBA that I just got. I'm probably going naked on the M2 MBA and keeping the GhostCover on my 14" keyboard.
I have a ghost cover as well from my 14”. I just got my new m2.
Do you find that it fits well and doesn’t touch the screen of the M2 air when computer is closed?

Could you post some photos and your thoughts please?
Sorry about the pics being upside down. For some reason, the MR forum software does that. I have found the cover stays put when typing and I had no need to use the suggested keyboard tape that came with. The feel of the cover is not distracting and doesn't impede typing in any way for me.

Thanks for the pics does it touch the display when the lid is closed?

Not sure how I would be able to tell with the lid closed, sans seeing keyboard imprint on the screen. I purchased my M2 from the local Apple store on the 7/15 and haven't had the lid closed, yet. lol My M1 is the same way.
Yea I guess only way to tell is if the lid is closed lol

Thoughts on Keyboard cover use from my experience.
I have a Mosiso keyboard cover on my mid 2013 13" MBA. After years, it has left marks on the screen. They are really only noticeable with a black screen -and- tipped at a strong angle. Obviously, taller keys and a different animal. My marks might be from the cover getting dirty as I use it on my office coffee service route to inventory each break room and my hands get dirty.

Is there anyway to find a spec for the OEM distance of keys to screen and the +/- tolerance? That info and keyboard cover's thickness spec would give a theoretical insight if a KB cover should or should not contact the screen. The only way that I could think to real world test a KB cover, is to apply a thin film on several keys, then open close the lid numerous times and maybe leave it sitting closed overnight. Then, with black screen, check screen at an angle in the light. But, now thinking of my years of 'dirty hands' use on my old MBA and the not too bad marks on my old school screen, I think for my new M2 MBA, I'll again use a cover, but 1) I'll try to clean my hands more often and 2) surely clean the KB cover occasionally! ;o) 3) maybe even replace it after it gets looking aged.

For my own use on counters in break rooms, around drinks and sinks, the risk of splashing liquid on my MBA is way more of a concern than screen marks. So for me, it is an easy decision to use one. YMMV

You should consider removing the keyboard cover (when closing the Mac) and replacing it with a thin sheet of paper (what came with the Mac works) and place that on top of the keyboard. Make sure to mark the bottom side of the piece of paper so that the same side always faces the keys. That way you don't have to worry about getting the screen dirty with any oily imprinting from the keys or the keyboard cover.

I tried out the ProCase Hard Shell Case for MacBook Air 13.6 Inch 2022 Model A2681 via Amazon. The case did not close all the way or seat completely at the end that opens. It left a gap. This made me feel that over time, that side being pressed closed when picking it up or being in a satchel with folders essentially pressing it closed, might wear out or break the hinge of the MBA. I returned it to Amazon and am now looking for a different heavy-duty case for my M2 MBA.

Has anyone tried the Incase clear case yet? I have a few from amazon that i bought but my MacBook Air is held up in customs so i started to look at other options. From what i am reading the incase is the way to go although its pricier than the others.
