Confused here: They say sync is coming but there won't be a Mac app. So what's the point of sync?

The new Clear doesn’t yet sync across devices — though Ryu says that’ll come — and it’ll almost certainly never have a Mac app. Ryu says he just can’t figure out how to make a Mac app that feels good the way Clear feels good.

I lost most (not all?) of my lists when it was "upgrading" in the app from the old version. I wouldn't have much to sync anymore anyway. It's really. shame because it's a cool app! But not being able to even import your lists, let alone sync them across to other devices, I'm basically left to start all over again, and on each device.

I assume the app has a new developer since version 1? Because v1 looked really slick, whereas e.g. the settings pane for v2 looks more like an ugly android app

Why doesn't he just look at the Mac App that is already out there of Clear? This isn't rocket science. At the very least, just duplicate what it does and then add from there. Received the email from Realmac Software (the original programmers of v1) this morning, promoting this new iOS version.

I was going to comment how the upgraded Mac version of it would be great but looks like that isn't happening. I have the Mac version of Clear and it rocks (just like Ember did!). It is very much like the iOS version 1, just using a mouse and it is great for what it does. Example list shown in screen shot I took today.

I used to love this app but Ive ben using Due for years now after updates didn't come for clear, I prefer the ability to set tasks have a widget set my own time reoccurrences for meds etc so even though I loved Clear I'll stick with Due.

From some of this coverage, I just discovered TeuxDeux and I'm in love. Especially the auto-rollover of a day's uncompleted tasks to tomorrow. I love having future tasks not showing up at all in a daily view.

One of the apps I use the most on my iPhone... I have multiple lists of lists on my device that help me organize anything from travel, maintenance, gift ideas, daily to dos and more. Great update.
