I think the first 2 adverts could be deemed borderline inappropriate, particularly the 2nd one (although I do want to see her now ;) ).

The 1st ad is too funny to be taken seriously, and the 3rd one was tame in comparison with the other two. I can see the average parent complaining about the 2nd one, and I think they'd be justified in their case. Personally, I don't have a problem with the 2nd ad, but I really think it depends on the person and how their personality

i have to agree with abstract on this one. I could understand the second one being slightly off-putting to others. the third one is pretty clever really. people need to complain less.

Sheer brilliance, if you will. I found them funny and awkward, which I think was the point.

Trying to grasp what's so controversial about them...

You know America was founded by prudes right? They came to America to escape from all that hot European sex.... EuroTrip!!!

:D

Eh I think they were funny and *mildly* risky, I mean their a lot less derogatory or misogynistic than any Axe/Tag body spray ads. I think people need to chill.

The first one was great. :D

The second and third ones are kinda borderline (#2 being somewhat worse). I can understand why some would be squeamish with those two since nudity is mentioned in both.

i found only mildly amusing and i don't get why there is a controversy ...

a local shoe retailer had an ad where two girls kissed after they selected a shoe retailer as a sperm donator ...
not to forget that during the spot you could see a nipple
and they run the ad even in the afternoon

oh i just found it on youtube

not like the others they had were less "impressive":

and sadly run way less on tv ;)

compared to those the clearasil ads aren't really pushing it
