Cleared notifications reappearing

Hi guys, for some reason, notifications that I've cleared from the notification centre constantly reappear - even several days after I've cleared them. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Or is this a bug?

Thanks mate. So is it normal for me to have cleared the notifications on my iPhone and for them to STILL reappear on the same iPhone? As in, that is the glitch?

I typically clear notifications when they come in. I've had instances, like yours, where I know I've cleared them, and the next day there are about a dozen. Not sure what triggers it, but I do receive notifications on iPad and iPhone so might be due to that? Seems like it is a bug to me.

I only receive some notifications on my iPad as that's the family device, so I don't think that's the cause. It may simply be a down and out glitch.

I’ve only once had a notification reappear on the same device after clearing it. I don’t remember when or what the scenario was. My more common issues are synch. I just wanted to respond to say you’re not alone in seeing bugs like that.

The thing is, my notifications reappear ALL the time. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to change any settings?
