cleared reading list in Safari but still on iOS

I cleared the reading list in Safari but it's till on my iPhone.

I edited all my bookmarks and they synced fine but why not the reading list?

EDIT: I turned off iCloud -> Safari on my iPhone and it now reflects the changes. Don't know why I had to do that since iCloud should sync properly.
