iPod Clearing music off iPod

I sold my nano so I want to clear the music off the iPod. Is there anyway I can do it without losing my entire Itunes library? Cheers

Try restoring it and then unplugging it before the music syncs.

If you choose to manage your iPod manually, you can drag and drop songs on/off as you like. So just change that preferences setting, then erase it all.
