I have two hands free calling devices, same device, one for each car. They both used to work, one stopped pairing for some reason. Somehow I thought that clicking on Forget This Device and then re-pairing both devices would be a good idea, apparently not. Now, no matter what I do my iPhone X does not ‘see’ either devices though both are in pairing mode. I’ve tried several ‘fixes’ including Reset All Settings, but nothing has worked. Is there a legit fix for this problem or will my iPhone not pair with these devices forever? Thanks

I've had similar issues with Bluetooth devices as you're describing and almost everytime it was because it was trying to pair with another device located elsewhere. First reboot your iPhone. If that doesn't work, drive a block away to ensure your device is out of range of any other device besides your iPhone and then try to pair it again.

Have you tried to hard reset the iPhone X

What is a ‘hard reset’? Thanks

EDIT: Google is my friend. Hard reset did not work.

Unrelated.... does Bugeye have to do with an Austin Healey by any chance?

Bugeye in the Subaru community refers to the 2001-2003 Impreza. Nicknames were given to different generations of the platform depending on the headlight orientation/design.

Ah, got it. I used to own a ‘60 Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite.
[doublepost=1543514805][/doublepost]I’ve read other threads about problems pairing Bluetooth devices. Inevitably someone mentions ‘did you read the ‘entire’ Manual?’. From Avantrees website....

Yup, both of them are now paired.

Now I got an iPhone that has had all its settings wiped, geez. Since it’s new, I might just do what I did when I took it out of the box, start over and Restore from iTunes again.
