Hey all. Collected my 5S this morning and pretty happy with it I must say. Only bugging thing I've for is there is a clicking noise coming from the home button everytime I press it, certainly louder than than the one I has before, kinda sounds like it's catching on the phone itself. Anybody else noticed anything like it?

Also finding it strange to get used to the fact that the keyboarb clicking noise starts quieter and gets louder as you type, very strange haha!

That is the fingerprint reader's handshake with NSA.

I choked on on my drink when I read this, made me laugh...loll

Honestly, No one knows if its normal or not! You are one of the first to actually tell us ANYTHING about it! :p

No one in the states even has it in hands yet! its still 3am.

Hahaha very funny. It I press the lower part of the button only it doesn't make it, it will probably wear off tho when it's been uses enough. Fingerprint sensor has been 100% accurate and super fast for the first hour or playing with it. Interestingly if you restart the phone it will require that you to type your passcode instead of fingerprint the first time.

Just updates to 6.0.1 and it no longer makes the keyboard clicking get louder as you type thank god! Siri sounds weird and muffled but I hears he gets to normal after a days use.

I was surprised that by default you have to put in a 4 digit passcode and then go into settings and change it to a longer one if you so wish. Pretty sure there was no option to not use a passcode on setup.

Downloaded a few apps from App Store but it won't let me use fingerprint to authorise it still requires passcode for some reason

Edit: just started promoting for touch ID to authorise downloads :)

yeah if you use touch ID you have to use an alternate password in case of touch id failure or the fact that the touch doesn't work if you dont use your phone more than 2 hours. (i think)

Mine does exactly the same thing, I'm guessing it's the new mechanism they've used for the finger print reader. I wouldn't worry to much so long as it's more reliable than previous versions.

Yeah mine sounds the same. I'll give it a couple of days and then try to compare it to a shop model after the launch madness has calmed a bit.
