Hello,
I have discovered a clicking sound when I moving (shakeing) my macbook from lefto to right. It seems like some loose part inside near spekers. Do you have something simillar or not?

I have rMB m3 both 5 days ago.

Best regards

Marek M.

Nothing here. I'd have it checked out.

Yes I have that too I've just noticed, it doesn't take much movement left to right either i.e. not very vigourous.

No idea what it may be.

I have Applecare so won't worry about it.

Thank You for reply.
I've checked 4 other models in some stores in my city 4 of them have this rattling. I am guessing that it is something moving inside display, some piece of layer/sheet which is a little smaller than space when it is placed.

I had the same thing on my 2016 rMB. I took it in to get it fixed last week and should be getting it back tomorrow. Apparently the part that's loose or to keep whatever in place was on backorder. So this is more common than we think...?

I keep hearing about this issue... I just did a "shake test" on mine (a very scientific test lol) - but I didn't hear anything.... Maybe bring it in and have it looked at?

Why the hell u need to shake your MacBook?? I'm not totally understand LOL :D

I noticed the same thing yesterday when taking mine to the Genius Bar for a stuck cursor key. Turns out it was a loose battery fitting or connector. They gave me a new one.

I'd be worried that it could be a problem with the single port being loose - if tis works loose then n=big problems ahead
