Every now and then I hear a clicking sound when scrolling through web pages. It sounds like the speakers are popping a little bit. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Should I try a SMC reset?

I have a 2015 Macbook pro btw..

Thanks

reset smc is 100% safe procedure. You can not damage your Mac by this reset .

Resetting PRAM / NVRAM is more delicate .

Smc can be reset as often as desired.

Does this happen in a different web browser (such as Chrome/Safari/FFox)?

Are you sure it is coming from the speakers? There are grounding pins that come off the Logic Board in Macs that can make squeaking noises. It is normal but understandably it can be a tad irritating.

The link you left is about something totally different from what i am having. But no I don't know if it is the speaker or not. When I'm scrolling i sometimes here a clicking sound and then it stops and i may not hear it until a day or two later.... its weird. I guess it could be what you said about the grounding pins, but would it be that audible?

Thanks
