Clicking sound

hey,

when i have the screen open, and i pick up my 2011 mpb 15in, or it just shifts on my lap there is this, not loud, but noticeable clicking sound that comes from the cd drive area, any ideas?

my own rationalization is that the mbp thinks its falling and about to hit the ground so it does something to secure the cd drive needle or the harddrive's needle

any input would be great 🙂

It's probably the Sudden Motion Sensor.

Yes, the sudden motion sensor thinks the MBP is falling.
