Hi all,

I'm currently working on a website for a client. I was hoping you guys could help me with a very simple quantitative usability test.

If you were only to see these two screenshots (see below) what would you guess the name of the company is?

Do not use more than a couple of seconds for this test. Your answer should be the first thing that pops into your mind :)

You can insert your answer here:

Its important to mention that further research of the company name is not allowed. This usability test is only viable if the two screenshots is the only thing you see.

Please be kind not to post the real company name in the comments.

Thank you in advance :)

We do A/B testing to determine things like this, very nice.

Without revealing too much, the first link makes it pretty clear to me and seems to be a design and layout intended for a home or key marketing driven landing page. The second link seems more like an inner page, so I echo the same sentiment as the other person who responded thus far.

The reason i wanted to do this test was to get some concrete data on how website users responds to the missing logo in the top left corner. In my opinion the logo "RAWBITE" should be displayed here (since its the company name).

As the test shows every other user is not able to quickly identify what the name of the company is, which in my opinion is very disturbing.

Thanks you all for participating in this test :)

Like the others, the first page seems like a portal to a larger site while the second page is not descriptive enough to let me know about the product save it may be food based and within food, fruit. :)

My vote for a portal page is the first page.
