Hi everyone! đź‘‹

I just released Clipaste (v1.0.1), a new clipboard manager for macOS and Windows with search and drag-n-drop.

Here is why I built another clipboard manager in 2026:
  1. Privacy is not optional. Many free tools track you, and the paid ones push cloud sync features I don't want. Clipaste stores everything locally and encrypts the database by default (AES-256).
  2. It handles Files & Images. Not just text. You can drag an image out of your history and drop it into Finder/Photoshop.
  3. App Filtering. You can filter your history to show only things copied from specific apps (e.g., "VS Code" or "Safari").
Other features:
  • Search text & filenames
  • Pin/Favorite items
  • Drag files and text to other apps
  • FREE & NO ADS!
Quick demo video (30 sec):

(or DMG from the website)

I’d love your feedback!
