Everytime I restart my computer my clock sets to some random time! Ive never had this problem before, and no matter how many times I set it back it always changes.

That and my weather widget always changes to some random city.

Is it just a different timezone, i.e. are the hours incorrect but the minutes correct? If you're on Snow Leopard, this could be due to the fact that OSX uses WiFi networks to try and find out where you are to adjust the time. To disable this, go to System Preferences, Date & Time, Time Zone, "Set time zone automatically using current location".

are you booting into OS X after booting into windows via bootcamp when this happens? I've noticed at least on my mbp the time in OS X always changes after i've restarted from using Windows.

try a PRAM reset. restart and immediately hold apple + option + P + R at the same time while the screen is still "grey". wait for 2 chimes. Once back in OS X set the clock manually as close as possible to the actual time, toggle the checkbox for automatically set time.

What kind of Mac? Perhaps a dead PRAM battery???

(My clock changes 60 times in a minute!) 😛
