C Chris7 macrumors 6502 Original poster Apr 11, 2010 #3 How will they get clock speeds so much faster than the 2Ghz Clarksfield? delux246 said: Prob around 3 Ghz and 3.5+ Ghz turbo Click to expand... I sure hope you're right. If you are, I'll probably buy another MacBook Pro around when the chip comes out. I know very little about this stuff, but... The mobile 4 core Nehalem 55W "Clarksfield" chip topped out at 2Ghz, for $1054 a chip according to wik here. Any links or info you have explain to help me understand why this one will get clocked so much higher at a lower power consumption? Thanks again, Chris
