It appears the clock/time display has disappeared on the Lock Screen. I know it was there after I upgraded, but this is new behavior. Any one else experiencing this?

Bumping to check if anyone else is experiencing this issue and if it's a bug - if so, how do we report this to Apple?

This issue was resolved by resetting the iPhone - Hold the home button + the lock button for about 10-12 seconds until the Apple logo appears. You will not lose any data or current settings.

Same issue just turn the phone off and back on.its a temporary fix but I do have that bug also

I did all of the above

Reset the phone, turned it on and off, did a complete restore. None of these help with the missing info on the lock screen. It would only fix the problem for a day at best.

I submitted a feedback on apples web site.

Follow up- I tried a full restore with my mac instead of using the cloud and it has seem to solve the problem. They did do an update recently (8.1.2) as well maybe that fixed the problem and the full restore is not necessary. I am saying this because they both were done in the same day.

Clock on Lock Screen disappears

Ever since I upgraded to 8.1.2 I notice that everyday at some point the clock on my phones lock screen just disappears for no reason. The only way to get it back is to reboot the device . This is not a very user friendly way of doing things, ain't it.

Same here and seems to be happening more often. Not only is it missing from the lock screen, but its also absent from the home screen after an unlock. Just submitted the bug to Apple feed back as well. It was a one off a while ago - but it seems to be happening more often.

That's not an acceptable "solution." Sure, it works for a time, but it does it again and again.

I'd like to know what the permanent fix for this is, or at least why it's doing it so I can possibly avoid it.

[doublepost=1509993868][/doublepost]I am having the same problem. If I restart the phone it comes back. Wallpaper is from my photos liberary

Okay late bump.

I googled for this problem, cant believe it still exists. Im on a iPhone 7 with iOS 11.2.6

Yea, restarting the phone works, but I don't want to restart the phone 5 times a day because it happens quite quick after fixing it.

Well, in case of iOS 11 at least, it looks like this is one of the items that was addressed in iOS 11.3 that was just released.
