clone macbook hd for new macbook pro

I'm replacing my 2.4 dual MacBook with a new 15" quad Macbook Pro. I've cloned my 500G HD with superduper. Can I use this clone on my new MBP?
 
Yes but don't clone it back, use migration assistant. You don't want to overwrite the System folder.
 
You will need to migrate it until (at least) 10.6.7 comes out and the other Macs get SB processor support.
