Cloning Mojave

Good day people!

I have about 40 2013 iMacs that are going to salvage, if I not able to make them usable here at school where I work.

I have not been able to create images using Disk Utility, I keep getting errors, I've made sure I use the correct disk formats (macOS Extended Journaled,) I've tried even formats not recommended, but image will not create.

The only thing that worked for me so far has been Carbon Copy Clonner, but after being imaged some iMacs act slow, and some act "normal".

Does anyone have any idea on how to clone these iMacs?

What kind of DRIVES are inside these iMacs?

Do some have platter-based hard drives, and others have fusion drives?
How about RAM? Do some have 4gb of RAM, others have perhaps 8?

Mojave is going to run slow on a 2013 iMac with a platter-based hard drive.
It might run more acceptably on those with fusion drives.

Same with RAM.
4gb ... slower.
8gb ... better.

Thank you for the response. These are practically the same machines. Maybe I'll go ahead and downgrade the image to High Sierra and hope for the best.
