So my wife sent my iPhone 5 through the wash and now I need a new one. I am currently running 6.1 on it and obviously the replacement phone will be on 6.1.3 or higher.

Is there any way to clone my old phone (it still works 100% just the screen is hardly readable and very unresponsive) and using it to downgrade and jailbreak the new phone coming in?

I know this is probably just a pipe dream but my jail breaking skills are remedial at best so maybe one of you guys does know how to do something like this.

Thanks for the help if I left any important info out let me know and I will correct my post.

I shattered my screen last week and had it replaced in the Apple store in about an hour...I would try there or at least call them. It's $49 if you have Apple Care+ and $149 if not.
