I don’t think many people in the forums were watching YouTube because it was ahead of the Apple Stream and my comments about new things were usually ahead of most other people reacting.

I’m beginning to just use the MacRumors live updating post. Go ahead and check it every 5-10 minutes... certainly not worth the 90 minutes... seriously.

In all seriousness I think the keynote formula is played enough. Apple needs to innovate in that arena or just go ahead with press releases and videos online. Seriously the “we even made a video” you just spent 10 minutes talking about it, now we need a 5 minute video recap?! Seriously?!

I don’t know about the rest of you but doing these the way Apple has for the last decade is exhausting... so many other tech companies have copied it/attempted to and it’s just blah at this point.
Sending out invites generates buzz for two weeks, then the media reporting on the day generates hype and free marketing. That’s why the do it.

It was pretty interesting for me, though I had it in background while I worked and just switched over to watch when they had a product marketing video.

Ignored everything about the camera stuff, though they did a good job making a sales case for the Pro phones.
The camera stuff was the only thing I watched in depth. The rest was just fluff.

Or if you think about it, 364 days of MacRumors build up before it, then a video explaining most of what we already know.

Sigh... people these days.
If you don’t like it then don’t watch it. I quite enjoyed it.

This. This. This.

In its current exhaustingly bloated form, the keynote makes Apple’s innovations less interesting than they actually are in my view

I watched on apple's site and it looked great. The phone and camera stuff made me nod off - I hate cell phones. But the rest was pretty good/OK. Was hoping to see the Watch Series 5 become completely independent of a phone and have a cell phone option with it's own number/account. But alas, maybe next year.

I'm trying to watch the event. Five minutes in and I'm already bored by the first presenter, some Asian woman who has never appeared before and has nothing interesting to say about something I care nothing about. Honestly, it seems like they are just trying to up their diversity score with their presenters rather than innovate with products.

Next two grown men are showing me how to play "frogger" and are "deflecting jelly beans" and I see that there are over 90 minutes to go in the show. But I'm done. It's torture to watch it.

Is there a way to restart a live stream in the YouTube app on Apple TV before the stream has ended? For example, I want to tune in to the PBS NewsHour live stream halfway through and just start the live stream from the beginning of the episode so I can see the whole thing without waiting for the live stream to end…
