Hi everyone,

I know a lot of new iMac videos came out today.

Has anyone come across a close up video (or picture) of the new iMac *numeric* keyboard? The one on the apple website is awful (far away/not super high res....).

I was just hoping to find a pic of this keyboard, but can't seem to find one anywhere....

I appreciate any info if someone has come across this! Thanks!

@Peet_B posted this image - it's a foreign language keyboard ??

That's what I ordered on my base iMac -
changed from the mini keyboard to the full sized because I need the number keypad.

Now I am wondering is how to eject DL DVD discs from my Apple SuperDrive using this keyboard as the TouchID has taken it's spot...

To eject a disc:

1) select it in Finder and type CMD-E
2) right click on it and select Eject
3) in the Finder sidebar, click the eject symbol

Yeah, this is the keyboard Apple shows you when you click on the "which keyboard is right for you" on the Dutch Apple site. Kinda weird because the layout of Dutch keyboards are identical to US keyboards, for the exception of the return key which is the "tall" version shown above. Because of that "tall" return key, the "|\" key is moved down a row. I don't get why countries with Latin alphabets all use different keyboard layouts...

I live in the Netherlands, only 10 minutes away from the German border, and this nonsense makes it impossible for me to use a German PC with a physical keyboard because of their AZERTY layout. And even more frustrating is that usually tech products are cheaper in Germany, but it's practically impossible for me to buy tech with physical keyboards since I can't their AZERTY layout...

AZERTY isn't a German keyboard layout. Germany uses QWERTZ instead:

Like I already explained above AZERTY is the traditional French keyboard layout. Why Apple NL would use that to exemplify the keyboard is beyond me.

So looking at the European keyboards, will the US / English keyboard have that "compressed" return / enter key ??

Or will it be the standard rectangular key???

Why would they change the US layout? The US has always (not really but for at least 30-35 years) had the single-row return key. Various other layouts, such as the German, French, Dutch, or even UK, have always (again.... not literally) had the double-height return key. Nothing has changed in terms of keyboard layout between the last generation Magic Keyboard and the new generation apart from the Touch ID sensor, the globe on the FN key, the colors, and the rounded edges.
