Dead horse. Don't see the point? Move on and buy whatever suits your needs/wants. It's not the responsibility of others to make you see the point which is a subjective matter to begin with.
It's a mass produced product. It's for the mass of consumers that buy it. Always consider the context. rMBP customers may be a minority of the overall laptop market but there's still a significant enough quantity of them to mass produce the rMBP. There are still enough people that don't upgrade that "the masses don't upgrade anyway" is still a valid statement. Feel free to pick nits if you want but you're just tilting at a random windmill.
