I have an old 17” I’m not using. If you promise to put it to good use, I could let you have it, we could do a porch pickup. If you want to give me a few bucks for it, I’ll put it towards a charity of my choosing. Otherwise, we’ll just call it returning a favor someone on this board did for me. If you’re interested. It already has an SSD.

Yeah, I’ll have to dig it out of storage, but it’s I think the last of the 17 inchers. 16GB Ram, maybe 500 GB SSD. Haven’t performed a fix, it hasn’t needed it, I did replace the battery last year.

Yes, that could happen. I’ll look tomorrow to see if it’s easily accessible. I don’t know where you’re coming from, but we’re in the Western suburbs, Swarthmore to be exact.

Man, I forgot what nicely built machines these are. They don’t make them like that any more, I wish they did! It should be ready for you on Monday, just let me know when you’re planning on coming around. I only wish they’d make a new retina version like that. Lovely keyboard, great 17 inch monitor.
