Come off it. The UNIX command line in the Terminal is immeasurably more pleasant than the DOS command line in Windows.

I really don't care about command line anywhere. I was referring to finder/explorer.
 
Mountain Lion's Archive Utility added support for password zip files so they do still focus on file management tasks. Mac OS X file management (i.e. Finder) will only disappear when the mouse cursor does in my opinion.
