The town without George Bailey
Whenever I copy a file to my iDisk, it takes forever to close the file, even for small files.

I just tried to transfer an 862 MB movie, having enough space to accommodate it, and the file copies but refuses to close. I then get a server disconnect message.

What's the deal with iDisk taking so long to close a file? If I didn't need the syncing and the drag and drop mounted volume convenience, I'd get rid of iDisk.

That's a very large file to upload. Even if they're taking a long time to close, are smaller files eventually transferring? If they're not, then open a new user account in System Preferences and see if you can upload to your iDisk from there to test if it's a problem with your Home folder.
