Sometimes I get a few popups or pop-unders appear in Safari while I'm browsing. And sometimes I'll accidentally close my window with several tabs open when I mean to close a popup. Is there a confirmation alert that I can enable to prevent me from accidentally closing a whole bunch of tabs all at once? Thanks!

Safari > Preferences > Tabs > Confirm before closing multiple tabs or windows

This may or may not have changed in Safari 6.

For future reference, you could have restored your closed tabs by going to History > Reopen All Windows From Last Session

It has changed in Safari 6. Very annoying!

That works if you quit Safari, yes.
I'm after a warning before I (or rather my ex Windows using wife) close(s) a window with multiple tabs. It was there in Snow Leopard and earlier versions of Safari.

Thanks! That's not cool!

It is an added feature, like Activity Monitor and all that ****. Never ever think of Apple being uncool, they have to provide those features for their growing numbers of customers.
I dread the day, I have to buy a new Mac coming with an awful OS like Mac OS X 10.7 Lion or OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. Probably will build a Hackintosh and join the crowd of Windows XP users (who held on to that OS for quite a while compared to Mac OS X users - I upgraded to a new Mac OS X version within two weeks of being released since Panther, now I just use the last and best Mac OS X version).
****ers.

Sorry, had to vent and no spammer was in the vicinity.

PS: Does CMD+Z help in reopening a window full of tabs?
