Before updating to iOS 17 my iCloud backup was around 1.9GB Since updating to iOS 17 iCloud backup is now estimated at 4.2GB however it’s been backing up for 2 hours now and still no end in sight. Any ideas why the backup size has more than doubled?

iPhone 13 Pro Cloud backup doubles in size

No I was bewildered as to why it had doubled so I deleted the backup that was there and did a fresh backup, this resulted in the new backup reducing slightly from 4.2gb down to 3.7gb so still around double what’s normal for me
