Cloud Backup - MobileSync

I'm using a cloud backup service and have noticed that there is almost 2gb queued for backup in ~/Library/ApplicationSupport/MobileSync/Backup

Is this my iPhone backup? I'd like to reduce network traffic as much as possible so is it safe to exclude this?
