i thought the clouds went live in september, it prolly still buggy because this in only a beta for devs to test their apps not full functions of the iOS

all my calender stuff is there, going to sync it at lunch see if i can get my contacts back anyway!

They might still be there –I thought the same thing had happened until I pressed Groups (top left corner) > All contacts. It was just the iCloud Group which had no contacts.

This is why I don't use beta products. Not to sound harsh but we are talking about beta products and servics which are bound to be buggy.

i understand this, im not upset i know at any time i can restore from my back up to 4.3.3 if i want, and all my contacts are on my computer at home i can sync them right back up. i was just curious if its just my phone or if anyone else is having the issue, if it is an issue it needs to be brought up to apple and i will report it if it is an issue..

Deja Vu Mobile Me all over again...history repeats itself. How can they still fail to recreate these test cases in the dev cycle.

i thought that too, but if you go into the icloud settings on the device where it lists mail, contacts, etc, turn contacts off, wait a minute, turn it on and they will be back, it's a bit glitchy, but the contacts are still there.
