Windows now has something called the cloud. I had heard of cloud computing but thought it only for bigger corporate computers.

Anyone have any idea if something like this is possible or planned for Apple/ iMacs?

Very interesting. I suppose security is something you lose using this free storage area?

Normally not, most places that offer some type of cloud computing have invested in their security. Anytime you use the Internet you are making using the Cloud, however as time progresses we will see more cloud computing. For example instead of having applications reside on our computers, we will just purchase licenses so we can access programs over the Net. The example of storage is just one example of cloud computing, anytime you buy something from Amazon or Ebay or any online store in essence that is cloud computing.

Nothing to worry about really.
