Clustering of PowerMac G4s for Videoencoding?

Hello,

since it is possible to build Clusters with Logic Studio 9, I asked myself if it would be possible to cluster PowerMac G4s for encoding videos (DV to h.264)? And moreover, if it even makes sense.

I guess not, since I imagine two Gigabit ethernet G4s would still be slow in file exchange or am I wrong?

Anybody know something about this?
