clutch cover slides back and forth. Normal?

Is it normal for the clutch cover to slide back and forth when pushed with fingers?

if you mean the black plastic cover below the screen that cover the hinge, then yes they can slide side to side. they are just snap on there, and not secure with a screw or of the sort.
