CMBP or new air?

So I am deciding what new computer I want to buy and was wondering if the air would be better or an older cMBP? Ill use it mainly for in my classroom, PowerPoint, office stuff like that? Thoughts? Will the new air be worth the extra money?

will the new air be powerful enough to handle powerpoint? Don't think so mate better get a mac pro for that 😉
