I am now inclined to get a 15 inch cMBP. I like the MBA 2013 a lot, it is just based on my needs right now.

Can the cMBP push a 4k monitor or two 27inch monitors?

Is the base cMBP 15 inch the correct one to buy? (is it the one which can be found in stores?)

I don't know if the cMBP can drive a 4k display but there's a huge difference between a MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro. I do believe it can drive 2 27" monitors however.

The MBA is great for portability, where as the 15" cMBP gives you expansion and power, i.e., a discrete GPU.

I like what new MBAs and if portability is your main must have, then I'd look seriously at this.
