I'm curious about the cMP's ability to game using multiple GPUs, either Mac or PC side. I know CrossFire/SLI aren't really options, but is it efficient to run multiple screens from multiple cards?

My searches online have not turned anything up, but if anyone has experience with this, that would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

You can Crossfire in Windows but not OSX.

Try barefeats.com, he has done some tests

SLI under bootcamp is possible but requires hyper sli be installed. Some users have reported the lower card getting hot due to the lack of airflow and it's position right above the processor compartment.

I ran dual GTX 680s for a while, and it generally worked well in supported titles. That being said, I really much prefer a single card solution. Less noise, lower temps, less power consumption, no SLI fiddling etc.

Interesting. Thank you both for this info. I did not realize it was even possible, even in Windows. Very cool.

    HyperSli is no longer supported.

Differentsliauto is the one people use now.

It requires you to run in test mode, similar to how many hack now require OSX to be in dev mode
