Sounds like they were pretty happy with the machine. I just can't believe the battery life. I have a late 2008 MBP so this is going to be a big change. Cant wait!

they gave it 4/5 stars and in their "bottom line", called it "the best of the macbook breed." not sure how you could classify that as a mediocre review.

They clearly liked the computer. I think the review itself was mediocre and a basic rehash of the specifications, WWDC keynote and Apple's product pages. There wasn't any interesting new information nor was it an in-depth review. Pretty poor, but it is CNET.

Perhaps that's what the other posters are commenting on?

Yep, it's the "Somewhere Else" that worries me.

i watched it. he didn't gush, but he was positive overall. i thought the 4/5 review was fair.
