    I'd agree. I liked the line: "Still, it feels like a rest stop on the road to somewhere else"

    I have a 2005 iBook G4 so i'm hoping for a big change too...

    they gave it 4/5 stars and in their "bottom line", called it "the best of the macbook breed." not sure how you could classify that as a mediocre review.

    They clearly liked the computer. I think the review itself was mediocre and a basic rehash of the specifications, WWDC keynote and Apple's product pages. There wasn't any interesting new information nor was it an in-depth review. Pretty poor, but it is CNET.

    Perhaps that's what the other posters are commenting on?

    Yep, it's the "Somewhere Else" that worries me.

    Watch the video review. First time I didn't see CNET's "giddy" Dan having an orgasm over a MacBook.

    i watched it. he didn't gush, but he was positive overall. i thought the 4/5 review was fair.
